For those of you inviting guest over for the holidays now is the perfect time to clean your washing machine. If you don’t
have a clean cycle on the control board, use the hottest and highest water setting with the most aggressive wash setting.
Choose a washer clean product from the store like Afresh or Washer Magic. You can also just use vinegar or bleach. If you
have the clean cycle on the control panel, follow the manufactures recommendations. Once the guest leave give it another
Cleaning and continue the cycle every 1 -2 months.
Don’t forget the dryers also. You should clean the lint screen after every use. Also pull the dry out from the wall once or
twice a year and clean out the vent tube, and replace it if damaged. While the dryer is out clean all around it and under the
machine also. Clean out the vent in the walls at least once per year. And when you push the dryer back, don’t kink your
vent.
